Over the years, Futur/io has developed its own Moonshot Framework and canvas to give you the ability to identify the key resources and actions for your next big project.

The Moonshot Framework has now been adapted for online executive education from the experience of running  live workshops for European CxOs and innovation leaders.

Each Friday you meet your class mates

  • A Feeling for Time

    Take the inspiration of the first lecturers and co-create a timeline with your anticipated milestones for the next decades. Start using MURAL as a whiteboard tool and spend time ina breakout team to start applying Moonshot Thinking.

  • A Day in a Life 2030

    In this workshop you start working towards describing life in a decade from now. What will not change? What is emergent or a breakthrough technology that we welcome to our lives? Co-creating the life of 2030 is a milestone on our Moonshot timeline.

  • Moonshot Canvas

    This is the heart of our workshop series: the Futur/io Moonshot canvas. Applying your insights from lecturers, co-pilots and experience into a flow of purpose and a strategy map including impact on economy, ecology, society and defining purpose for the people we serve.

  • Landing your Moonshot

    Now onto concluding the Moonshot Masterclass workshop series by bridging the gap of long term vision & short term execution. The session touches upon the art and process of telling your moonshot story, behavioural change towards reaching high potential and leading with inspiration towards results.

  • Tools

    We are using Zoom to invite you to our online workshops. You will work in breakout rooms in smaller groups to create your team and co-pilots. In addition, we use white boarding tools like MURAL to help you put your ideas and insights on the canvas.

  • Community

    You will get in touch with your classmates via the built-in community and discussion features. In addition, we will invite you to our masterclass alumni network on LinkedIn and other platforms to stay in touch with your peers and fellow alumni.

Transformational framework from insights to execution

The Moonshot Canvas helps you test your idea’s purpose and balance and it helps to keep the moonshot idea on track.

 

Moonshot Canvas is not a fill-in-the-boxes tool. It is natural for any idea to have stronger and weaker features and this canvas helps you to study your balance. Tech-focused ideas, for example, can have a strong financial impact but lack on the purpose side. On the other hand, a passion-driven idea may be weak on the financial side.

 

The Moonshot Rocket is ready for launch when social and environmental dimensions, the purpose of its journey, the greater good, the human being running the rocket, the right (exponential) technology as well as the financial impact and/or savings are fully balanced.

 

If the balance is off or you still lack some parts it is a sign to consider one more iteration with your group or external experts to reach a narrative that truly matches the definition of a moonshot.
